Boom Bass; ‘B Bass’
Bunker Guitars Proudly Introduces The Treker Branded Boom Bass!
A Treker Bass Best: The Top Bass In its Class
Bunker Mission: Incorporate Bunker’s Tension Free Floating neck system into an American made bass guitar that does not just compete, but is better in quality and sound than the Fender P-Bass, and other similar basses at an affordable price. END RESULT: The Treker Boom Bass!
B Bass: An Affordable, Great Bass With High End Features!
The Classic B Bass takes a conventional bass guitar and incorporates it with the patented Tension Free Neck system. The Tension Free bass neck truly makes the Treker Boom Bass the bass best for the money. There is nothing that can compete with the B bass anywhere near its price range!
The B Bass is more responsive and resonates better than any other P Bass type bass guitar. The bass feels and plays like a high end bass at a price range normally associated with an entry level cheap bass guitar price.
The Bunker Boom Bass is The Top Bass in its Class
Most basses available on the market today are built well, yet, the nature of the inferior standard truss rod type neck system stifles wood be tone and sustain. The Treker Boom Bass, however, does not lose this tone. In fact, the Bunker B Bass boosts tone and sustain because of the incredible Tension Free Neck!
The Tension free neck elevates the B Bass from what is already a high quality, good instrument into a bass guitar that plays incredible. Comparing it to similar priced models isn’t even a fair comparison. The B Bass with the Tension Free Neck is not only better than anything in it’s price range, but many players comment that it sounds and plays better than basses on which they spent 4-6 times as much!
Appearance; Feel and Playability of The Bunker B Bass
The B Bass Guitar with the Tension Free Bass Neck is an engineering masterpiece, and on the wall or in hand it’s truly a thing of beauty.
When you pick up a Bunker B Bass for the first time the frets will have been meticulously hand worked in for that smooth vintage feel. The fret tangs will feel as though it’s been played for years. They truly are that smooth.
The bass is percussive and responsive when you hit the strings, and the tone is alive. The most common comments from new Bunker bass players are that it reacts and responds instantly down they entire neck. Then they discover the incredible tone and playability that Bunker basses offer.
This is the best bass in its price range period. Not only is it the best bass in its price range, but as far as sound goes it’s better by far than many high end custom basses. All of this is truly because of the Bunker Tension Free neck system, which removes the enormous pressure exerted on a bass neck by its own strings.
What is the Bunker Tension Free Bass Neck?
The Tension Free Neck system removes all stress and pressure normally exerted on the fingerboard and the neck when the strings are tightened to musical pitch. By removing this pressure the Bunker B Bass has more clarity; better tone, smoother lows, more consistent quality sound, and virtually eliminates all dead spots!
Many thousands of guitar players have realized and benefit from the Tension Free Neck system. Indeed the benefits on a guitar are tremendous, but they are astoundingly noticeable on the bass. The B Bass combined with the Tension free neck system is an unbeatable combination.
The Benefits of The Tension Free Neck Include:
And MANY More!
Because there is no tension on the wood, the neck is free to resonate, thus, delivering tremendous sustain, and tone. What this translates for you is greater tone range, less frequent tuning, and strings lasting longer.
Not only do you get all of the above, but you also get the peace of mind knowing that your Tension Free Neck comes with a LIFETIME WARRANTY!
What Do Others Guitar Builders Do?
Other basses with the convention type truss rod type system in their necks are compromised no matter what they do. A truss rod inherently exhibits force upon the neck to counter the string pressure. A conventional truss rod type bass neck is inherently problematic, especially on less expensive type of basses. Climate, temperature changes, strings changes, all influence the neck and how it plays.
Every now and then you might find a rare gem that has better tone, this is especially true with the smaller builders who pay special attention to their instruments. In an attempt to keep the neck straight and counter the string tension, often manufactures try to counter this with graphite stiffeners, thick necks, multi-laminations and other various methods of stiffening the neck.
As a result they loose a great deal of tone. Many methods are used to recapture this lost tone such as with better pickups, high quality tone woods, bridge systems, etc. Ultimately this is lost tone that can never be regained no matter how much they amplify the remaining tone.
When you consider that 2/3 of the area that the strings are on is the neck playing surface you have to realize that a great amount of tone is generated by a properly engineered and built neck.
When you pick up and play a Bunker Bass the difference in response and tone is tremendous and immediately noticeable.
