The  IBANEZ –BUNKER – PBC story We get lot’s of interest regarding the guitars and basses we built for Hoshino (Ibanez) in the mid 90’s, These guitars and basses today have become some of the most collectable guitars of the present. One of the great guitar designers and luthier’s, which I had the pleasure to work with when building these guitars, was Jim Donahue.  Jim for over 20 years was the premier designer with Hoshino of Ibanez guitars and basses. Our company, PBC guitar technology, was located just north of the eastern Ibanez distribution warehouse which was in northern Philadelphia. The reason Ibanez asked us to build guitars for them was because of some innovations we had on our guitars which greatly improved the sound and playability of our guitars, these being such things as our tension free neck and other manufacturing technology. Just one more reason to buy a Bunker if you want the finest guitar that money can buy.

Great fun at NAMM, the greatest had to be seeing my freind Larry Broido, nobody knows guitars and the guitar world more than Larry, hope to talk to you soon. I want to thank my  freind Robert schmidt of Chicago for coming to the show and working with us on our new marketing programs. So many other great people showed up, too many to mention, thanks to all of you and God bless. ®Magic of Touch©CD it's chuck full of exciting songs with a short exciting DVD showing the Stump to Stage sequence  from finding and falling that special tree to getting it to the final product. The great band BTO endorses Bunker Guitars: Dear Dave The guitar is awesome.  I used it for the entire show (video shoot, live recording) in Winnipeg on July 1 and our front of house guy said it is "Sweet." No tuning problems, great playability, very comfortable to wear and a great big tone.  The APC persuader in the bridge does sound a lot like it's single coil space counterpart. The guitar has generated a lot interest at the three dates last week, thanks Randy

Call 206-718-9943 for technical assistance and specifications. The Bunker Electronic Mute "patented" System lets you have the option of turning the string on and off by either touch or picking, it also lets you have what we call Six Sense which lets you play open but keeps the string off until wanted, the third option is what we call "Garbage Mode" or on all the time as a regular guitar is. The Touch Guitar and it's unique history was selected by the Seattle Times as there feature story to run with the opening of the great Paul Allen EMP museum. "Check it out below" -----Dave Bunker Biography

Why Dave Bunker is not singing the blues After 40 years of tinkering, the dreamer of a new guitar holds in his hands not only an example of musical innovation and technological know-how, which EMP seeks to embody, but the work of a stubborn Northwest free spirit.
